Carved into the rolling countryside of Manlius, New York, the Cavalry Club has long been a fixture of the Syracuse social scene. Its origin lies in the actions of the Troop D Auxiliary Company, a 1904 offshoot of Troop D, First New York Cavalry. Please visit the History page to learn more.

Whether you prefer the challenge of athletic activity or the simple pleasures of relaxing with family and friends, the Cavalry Club is always a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Many of our members select our club for their most important business and social engagements.

Dining Opportunities

The Cavalry Club offers a Dinner Club Membership in addition to memberships that include golf and pool use. Fine food, a lovely atmosphere and excellent service await you as well as an impressive wine list for the most discriminating taste. Please visit the Dining page to learn more.
Banquet facilities accommodate more than 300 guests for weddings, reunions, holiday parties and meetings. Both indoor and outdoor accommodations are available for any type of function.

Golf Course

Designed by nationally recognized golf architects’ Dick Wilson and Joe Lee, our 18-hole golf course creates the perfect setting for challenging play. Pool

Our multipurpose pool and locker facility are available during the summer season and offer a safe and enjoyable family environment. The pool is staffed by fully accredited lifeguards who offer a complete range of lessons for all family members. Our Junior Swim Team is consistently recognized as one of the most competitive in the area, winning several local and regional events. The pool is also available for private events and all types of food and beverage may be arranged.

General Information

Hours of operation vary per season. Generally Lunch and Dinner are served daily in the Golf House from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. We suggest that you call ahead for a reservation and to verify serving times. Our Bar and Lounge are also open daily. Our Snack Bar is located on the Lower Level of the Golf House. A rather extensive menu including breakfast and lunch items as well as all legal beverages and fine cigars is provided weather permitting.

Dress Code: Our facility is casual to business casual for dining. Jackets are NOT required. However, jeans and denim are NOT permitted anywhere on the property.

Billing and Payments: No cash is acceptable at our facility. Members must be prepared to offer their membership number for all charges to be billed to their account.
